To Get Started:

Register your domain with an accredited registrar (see below). Set the name servers to: ns1.ecwh.org and ns2.ecwh.org.
Setup an account with us by sending an e-mail request with your new domain name to New Member Registration. In your email, please provide the address and telephone number of the organization, and the contact email address.
Usually within 24-48 hours, you will be emailed a password to sign in. Please do so immediately and change the password using the recommended guidelines.
At this point, your website is ready for you to upload pages to. You can use FTP or our cpanel file manager facility to do so.

Services

It is very important that you read Dragon Networks Terms of Service first. This explains the details of the contract you agree to when you use the service. Dragon accepts electronic payments only. This does now include electronic checks, which are simple to setup through your invoice.
Dragon Networks Payment page gives further details about payment methods. Dragon now charges for postal payments ($10 per check service charge)

Please note that all invoices are due Net 5 (5 days after receipt) and that Late Fees, as laid out in the TOS, will apply.

All cancellations MUST be made in writing through the Support Desk at least 10 working days prior to end of the service period, otherwise service may automatically renew.
Free Service
Episcopal Church Web Hosting provides free web hosting to Episcopal Church organizations to encourage an Episcopal presence on the World Wide Web. The basic package will be adequate for most parish web sites. For the Free Basic package, the services include:
- 75 MB web space
- 1 GB monthly transfer
- 5 POP email accounts
- 1 FTP account (for file uploads).
- Front Page extensions available
- cpanel based website management

Additional resources are available for purchase through Dragon Networks who freely donate ECWH's webspace. Please contact ecwh@dragon.com for more information about upgrading your ECWH account. (ECWH does not benefit directly from upgrades purchased through Dragon)

Upgrade 1 Package available through Dragon Networks.
Includes everything in the Free Package, plus up to 10 email accounts, 2 MySQL databases, 150 MB web-space and 2Gb monthly transfer for $75 per year.
Upgrade 2 Package
Includes the above plus up to 25 email accounts, 2 Mailing Lists, 300 MB web space, 3 mySQL database, up to 5 GB monthly transfer and CGI access for $100 per year
Add-ons will include
- Additional email accounts at $20 per year (with Spam Assassin, etc.)

Domain Name Registration

ECWH does not provide Domain Name Registration Services. Domain name registration is a separate service and does not need to be done through your web host provider. ECWH does not require that you use any particular domain registrar in order to use our services. However, we recommend registration through Dragon Network's regest.com registration service.

Dragon Networks (dragon.com) is currently donating the host for ECWH. They are an Anglican owned and operated web hosting service. They also provide domain name registration for ECWH clients at a very reasonable rate. Most conveniently, if you have all of your web services through Dragon Networks it makes it easier to keep track of your accounts, easier for us to help you if you have trouble, and easier for those who might come after you and need to recover account information.

If your domain name is currently registered with a more expensive registrar, you should consider transfering your domain to the Dragon Networks service and take advantage of the discounted rate for future unpaid years. Contact ecwh@Dragon.com for more information.
